Drivers warned of crash between Shaftesbury and Gillingham, north Dorset
DRIVERS are being alerted to a crash in north Dorset.
The B3081 Shaftesbury Road is partially blocked with queueing traffic due to accident between Gillingham and Shaftesbury, Dorset Council's Travel Dorset team reports.
UPDATE
Police have since confirmed that the two vehicle collision happened on Lox Lane just off the B3081. The road has now been cleared.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "We were called at 9.37am on Wednesday August 18 to a report of a two vehicle collision on the A30 at the junction with Lox Lane in North Dorset. "There were no reports of any injuries. The local authority was requested due to fluid on the road. The road was cleared at around 10.20am."
