IT IS fair to say there is plenty to see and do in Dorset.

6) Monkey World
Monkey World, Tout Hill, Longthorns, Wareham tourist attraction houses over 250 rescued and endangered primates
The tourist attraction is home to 250 rescued and endangered primates as well as the largest group of chimpanzees outside of Africa, living in four different social groups.
Many have been rescued from the black market pet trade, laboratories, and from abuse as tourist photographer props.

5) The Rocky Horror Picture Show Drive-In Cinema showing
Venue: Old Holmsley Run Way, Forest Road, Thorney Hill, Bransgore, Christchurch BH23 8EB
The classic 70s cult classic is playing at a drive-in cinema in East Dorset. The sound is transmitted through to your vehicle radio. The sound can also be picked up on a portable radio, please bring a portable radio if you do not have a working radio in your vehicle.

4) Purbeck Valley folk festival
This weekend you can catch the Purbeck Valley Folk Festival between Friday and Sunday offering plenty to do for all varieties of ages. The festival features a range of folk acts playing music across five stages as well as workshops, craft areas and plenty of other stalls. Held at the Purbeck Valley Farm, gates open at 10am with music starting at midday and ending at midnight.
3) Bournemouth Pride Festival
Taking place over the course of Friday and Saturday Bournemouth’s pride festival is back, despite cancellations elsewhere. On Friday there will be a family fun event in the Triangle between 5pm and 9pm, which has already sold out. On Saturday a walking parade will depart Meyrick Park at around midday heading to the Triangle. Once it arrives there will be a variety of live entertainment until 10pm at this over 18’s ticketed event.
2) Pirates of the Pavilion in Weymouth
Venue: Weymouth Pavilion, The Esplanade
Summer 2021 marks the eighth annual production of Pirates of the Pavilion in Weymouth.
The famous pirate crew set sail for the South Pole on a mission to defeat the evil Snow Queen who is determined to cast an icy spell across the world, freezing the planet and ruining summer.

1) Haynes International Motor Museum

This multi-award winning Museum is home to the UK’s largest Collection of cars and motorbikes and is truly a must-see attraction for the whole family.
