A harbourside church is opening its doors to a summer celebration of local art, music and flowers this bank holiday weekend.

Holy Trinity Church in Weymouth is holding the celebration from Friday, August 27 to Bank Holiday Monday, August 30. The nave will be filled with an array of colour, creativity and song.

There will be performances from the Ravenscroft Singers and an organ recital. Visitors will also be able to view artwork from community arts group Artwey and displays by the church florists.

Visitors can also enjoy refreshments whilst they wander around the church.

The weekend of art, music and flowers will include stunning paintings, encaustic wax, prints, photography, ceramics and sculpture from Artwey artists.

The doors will be open on Friday from 10am to 4pm (Choral Evensong at 6:30pm), Saturday from 10am – 3.30pm with a 4pm organ recital featuring Nicholas Houghton and Choral Evensong at 6:30pm), On Sunday (Sung Eucharist at 10am) then 12 noon – 4pm. Bank Holiday Monday from 10am – 4pm.
