Due to delays with building work at the Corn Exchange in Dorchester, live performances will be moved to other venues in and around the county town.

Dorchester Arts' autumn programme will begin on Wednesday, October 6 with Tenebrae: Drop, Drop Slow Tears at St Mary’s Church in Dorchester.

On Sunday, October 10 film lovers can see the locally filmed Lawrence After Arabia at the Herrison Hall in Charlton Down.

On Friday, October 15 Byron Wallen's Four Corners will be at Dorset Museum ; on Sunday, October 17 Budapest Café Orchestra will play the Herrison Hall and on Friday, October 22 The Unraveling Wilburys will play Herrison Hall.

On Saturday, October 30 Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman play Dorset Museum. Catch comedian Jenny Eclair at the Herrison Hall on Friday, November 5 and on Sunday, November 7 be treated to a musical performance by Ninebarrow at the Herrison Hall.

It is hoped that the arts programme will return to the Corn Exchange in mid-December with a line up of festive and celebratory events.
