DORCHESTER Town “shouldn’t go fearing” Poole Town in today’s Dorset derby, according to boss Robbie Herrera.
The Magpies visit Pitching In Southern League Premier South title contenders Poole (3pm) with a handful of positive displays under their belt but only three points as a reward.
Poole, meanwhile, have two wins in four games – including a 4-0 win at Harrow on Saturday.
Dorchester are looking to bounce back from the late 1-0 loss to Salisbury last time out.
Herrera told Echosport: “We shouldn’t go fearing anybody. We’ve played some decent sides already and played well.
“If we can turn some of the dominance we’ve had into goals then I’m sure we’ll be fine.
“For the locals it’s a big derby. I’m hoping the boys will see that. There’s always something extra on it, so we’ll be ready.”

Tiago Sa (ankle) will be assessed but Tom Soares (calf) came through Saturday unscathed.
Herrera added: “(The players) will be ready for the game. Sometimes with derbies there’s not as much football played.
“But we’ll be ready and we’ll go there. They’ve had a good start, a good win (Saturday) so they’ll be favourites. Hopefully we can go there and cause an upset.”
