With Age Concern and the police and many other agencies warning us that old and vulnerable people could be being taken in by scams is it time for tax payers to question the age and capabilities of the very well paid key ruling members of Dorset Council?

Are they really doing their very best and carrying out their duties with due diligence to embrace change and technology and create a vision for the future for all generations in the Dorset area for a sustainable, carbon neutral environment that is progressive and offers opportunities to all?

With so much of our money at their disposal how can we be assured that they are making sustainable policies and carrying out the right decisions to benefit all future generations, and not just the here and now or the amount of time that the individual may or may not be in power?

Is it time for a age cap on council leaders and policy makers and should portfolio holders hold a underpinning knowledge in the post that they have been allocated?
