This year the extravaganza, organised by Weymouth & Portland Lions Club and Purbeck Motocross Club, will be held on Sunday, October 10.
The event, which is usually a welcome economy boost in the quieter months after the main summer season, will once again see the award-winning pristine sands of Weymouth Beach transformed into a motocross course, complete with bumps and jumps and all the thrills and spills of the race.
This event attracts thousands of spectators along with some of the best riders in the world. Together with riders of all abilities, a superb location and setting, combine to make this event one of the most sought after and most eagerly awaited event in Weymouth’s tourist calendar.
