BRIAN Stock paid credit to the attitude of Brandon Goodship after the striker made his 100th appearance for Weymouth in the 3-1 win over Maidenhead.
Goodship came on as a late sub to earn his milestone but did not cap the occasion with a goal.
The forward is still waiting to add to his tally for Weymouth since joining the Terras for a second spell this summer.
But Stock highlighted how the marksman displayed team player qualities when told he would not start against the Magpies.
Stock told Echosport: “He knew he wasn’t starting and the way he supported the team speaks volumes for his character.
“To go on and make 100 appearances – I’m sure that would’ve been in his eyes and (hoped) for a nicer way to celebrate it by scoring.

“He’s fully supported the team. It was just putting fresh legs into the team so we went with that.”
