A POPULAR annual exhibition celebrating the best of the Jurassic Coast returns this weekend.
The Artists of the Jurassic Coast Exhibition returns to the Bridport area on Saturday, September 11. The exhibition will take place at the Eype Centre for the Arts and will run through to Sunday, September 26.
This is the 14th instalment of the exhibition and will be open daily from 10.30am until 4.30pm. Entry is free to all.
Lynne Grace will be exhibiting seascapes among other works using colour and sense of movement. The works of John Boyd will also be displaying his atmospheric light-based paintings.
Other painters will include oil painter Brian Cocks, Charlotte Miller, whose specialises in landscapes of west Dorset valleys, hills and orchards gentle in colour and atmosphere.
Marion Taylor, will be showing her usual paintings of Colmer’s Hill as well as new original collages including a series of collages on vintage postcards. Signed copies of Marion’s new book, 'West Bay: A Visual Journey from Bridport Harbour to West Bay' will also be available to buy.
