A PROPERTY owner suffered a 'laceration to their head' during a fire.
Firefighters from Bridport Fire Station were called to a property fire in the town centre at 5.48pm on September 11, where a person had reportedly sustained a head injury.
Upon arrival, crews found the fire, which had been caused by cooking being left unattended, was out, but the property owner had been injured while trying to extinguish it.
A spokesman for Bridport Fire Station said: "One appliance was mobilised to a property fire in Bridport. Further information was received on route that the fire was out but the property owner had suffered an injury.
"On the scene, crews found one casualty with a laceration to their head. Some of the crew carried out first aid whilst others inspected and ensured the property was safe.
