Tickets are now on sale for pre-release screenings of a Dorset-filmed movie.

Lawrence: After Arabia focuses on the events that led up to Lawrence of Arabia’s death following a motorcycle accident near Bovington Camp on May 13, 1935.

The film was due to have a series of screenings in Dorset last year but they were cancelled because of the pandemic.

Now a series of new dates have been announced so filmgoers can at last see the long-awaited movie.

Local screenings are: Sunday, October 10, Herrison Hall, Charlton Down (afternoon and evening); Monday, October 11, Lighthouse, Poole; Friday, October 15, Digby Hall, Sherborne; Tuesday, October 19, Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis; Wednesday, October 20, Moreton Village Hall (afternoon screening) and Friday, October 22, Electric Palace, Bridport. There will be another screening at Moreton Village Hall on Thursday, November 11.
