A COTTAGE on a famous Dorset street could be yours for just £150,000 when it goes up for auction.
The Grade II-listed property, based in Gold Hill in Shaftesbury, has been put up for auction with a guide price of £150,000.
Auctioneers Symonds & Sampson say the three-bedroom property would make an ideal new home, second home or holiday let.

The character cottage is in need of full refurbishment, subject to planning permission.
However, some works to extend and refurbish the property have been partly completed.
Its ground floor contains three reception rooms and a kitchen. Up the stairs are two bedrooms on its first floor and a further bedroom is on the second floor.
The property is on the famous Gold Hill, also known as ‘Hovis Hill’ after director Ridley Scott filmed the 'Boy on Bike' television advert for Hovis bread.
The view looking down from the top of the street has also been described as "one of the most romantic sights in England."
This property is for sale by online auction at 12pm on Friday, October 22, with starting bids from £150,000.
