The power of the cartoon has been considerable for years.
World War One produced Barnsfather with ‘Old Bill’ .
Before World War Two and after gave us David Low with his brilliant and perceptive political cartoons.
Some cartoons arrived c1940s in the form of graffiti like ‘Kilroy was here’.
To my mind the best form of getting points across was ‘Mr Chad’ who looking over the wall was asking ‘WOT no Lorry Drivers’ or ‘WOT no Gas’.
Mr Chad had a view on everything.
Let’s get him active again.
I’m sure it would resonate with people.
