Global languages were celebrated for the day at St Osmund's Middle School in Dorchester.
Students answered the register in a different language and joined in a huge global bake-off.
They enjoyed eating different world cuisines, including Anzac Cake (Australia) and Nankatai (India) along with Day of the Dead biscuits (Mexico).
Youngsters and teachers listened to some of the students teaching Polish, Romanian, Turkish, Malayalam, Arabic, Thai, Vietnamese to just list a few. Staff wore traditional costume.
Headteacher Saira Sawtell said: "Embracing the diversity in our families and community was such good fun."
