The October Half Term is closer than you think - a lot closer.

Schools in Dorset go on holiday from Monday, October 25 2021 until Friday, October 29 2021, according to Dorset Council.

That's five full weekdays and a whole weekend to keep your kids occupied.

The Tank Museum

Every day is a school day- even when the kids aren't in school. 

Visit the Tank Museum in Bovington and explore history as a family. 

A family ticket ( 2 adults and 2 childeen) is £38.50 which gives you access to their trail, workshops and a whopping 300 tanks.

Farmer Palmer's Farm Park

There's plenty to do at Farmer Palmer's throughout Autumn.

Why not get into the Halloween spirit a little early by visiting the "Boo- Crew"?

They will lead you on to their special "Soak-A-Spook" Tractor ride. 

The family fun doesn't stop there because the farm is offering pick your own pumpkin sessions which will be running from October 25-31.

Corfe Castle

Walk through history at Corfe Catle this Half Term. 

Join in as Gabrielle the kitchen maid and Thomas the master carver prepare to serve a Tudor meal.

You'll learn what it was like to live in the Tudor era in its Tudor Table interactive experience.

Halloween Childrens Trail in Durlston Country Park

Durlston Country Park and Nature Reserve has an exciting Halloween trail.

The park is hosting the family friendly event from October 22 right up to Halloween.

Get into the spooky spirit a little early this year by using some night vision glasses on their trail.

Or you can just enjoy being outside and exploring the beautiful woodland.

SEA LIFE Weymouth

SEA LIFE is hosting a spooktacular event throughout October with an immersive in-tank trail, sea witch mystery and a celebration of their creepiest creatures from the deep sea.

The Ascarium in Weymouth runs from October 9-31 2021.

You can buy an adult ticket for £14.50 while children's tickets cost £10.50 each.

Adventure Wonderland

Adventure Wonderland has just transformed its park into a "spooky world of magic and mystery".

Their hedge maze has turned into an 'Enchanted' interactive experience based off your favourite Grimm's fairytales.

The park has some entertaining live shows in the Happydrome Theatre and you'll still be to try out all their fun rides like normal.

Edward Danter’s Half Term Fairground

Let you kids blow off some steam at Edward Danter's Half Term Fairground.

The Danter family are famous across the West of England and Wales for their fairground rides and family entertainment.

The fair is running from October 31 - October 31 at Weymouth Pavillion Forecourt. 

 

Code Ninjas Half Term Science Fun

This Science Zone business is hosting a Half Term full of fun activities for all ages. 

There is something for everyone with a Robotics Bootcamp to Kirds Clay Volcano making. 

The workshops run every day from Monday October 25 to Saturday October 30.
