A NEW art exhibition from an American artist launches today.
Artist Andrew Denman will be showcasing his work at the Gallery by the Lakes with his Narrative Ark exhibition from October 9 until October 30.
Mr Denman produces contemporary animal portraits and his latest work in Dorchester will feature a variety of birds and wildlife from across the UK.

The paintings on show will be accompanied by studies, sketches, and preparatory drawings to provide insight into the artist’s creative processes.
There will also be a chance to meet the Arizona artist today, Saturday October 9, at 11am at the gallery which is at Sculpture by the Lakes, Pallington, near Dorchester.
He will be talking about the current exhibition and his other work, some of which can be seen at the Nature in Art Museum in Gloucestershire and three other museums in the US.

Gallery by the Lakes is open between 10am and 5pm on Saturdays and during the week.
Entry to the gallery where Mr Denman's work is on display is free but anyone wishing to visit Sculpture by the Lakes site would have to pay for standard entry.
