BIRD lovers are reminded that there is the opportunity to meet the team responsible for managing two nature reserves in Weymouth this week.

The RSPB, the UK's largest nature conservation charity, is holding two drop-in sessions for Weymouth residents to get to know the team responsible for taking care of nature reserves in Radipole and Lodmoor.

The team will be at the bandstand in Lodmoor from 10am until midday on Thursday, October 14, and outside the Discovery Centre at Radipole Lake from 1pm until 3pm the same day.

A spokesman for RSPB Weymouth Wetlands said: "You are invited to meet the RSPB team responsible for the management of the Weymouth Wetlands reserves. We will hold drop-in sessions to talk about our work in Weymouth, our plans for the reserves, and to answer your questions.

"We look forward to seeing you there."
