I have had a very good experience with the NHS lately.

One evening I had to ring 111.

They arranged for the doctor to call me. He did and gave me advice over the phone which was very helpful. Another time, I rang 111 the doctor visited me.

Then local district nurses came and dressed my legs. The doctor on duty rang a few weeks later.

A few weeks ago I had to ring for a non urgent ambulance. The two young ladies made me feel very comfortable; not like a nuisance old lady. The crew made me feel they had all the time in the world.

They were very busy but it was nothing too much for the NHS.
