COUNCILLORS will resume meeting face-to-face for the first time since the pandemic began.
Weymouth Town Council will return to holding committee meetings in person instead of online, which became the norm at the start of the coronavirus pandemic and has continued since.
At a meeting - which was held virtually - of the full council last week, councillors agreed to resume future committee meetings in person.
A spokesman for Weymouth Town Council said: "Councillors considered the latest data on Covid-19 case rates and safe working recommendations before making the decision to return to face-to-face meetings.
"The next meeting to be held in person at the town council offices on Commercial Road will be the services committee on Wednesday, October 20.
"Full council meetings will continue to be held virtually for the time being."
