A MAJOR A-road has been cleared after it was partially closed following a four-vehicle crash.
The A352 was partially blocked both ways following the crash on East Knighton Lanecausing traffic in the area to queue.
Police said they were called at 8.52am this morning to a crash involving four vehicles.
One fire engine from Wareham Firest Station was sent to the crash for scene safety after it was reported that smoke was coming from one of the vehicles.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 8.52am of a four vehicle collision on East Knighton Lane at East Knighton.
"Officers attended and the fire service was also called due to reports smoke was coming from one of the vehicles.
"There were no reports of any serious injuries. Recovery was arranged and the local authority was notified due to debris on the road.
"The road was cleared at around 11.35am and officers left the scene."
