RE: The Dumble Bimble
As you will realise this was the second year that we were unable to stage this very popular annual run.
However we, with your generosity have been able to present the Weldmar Hospice with the fantastic amount of £1,429.
This was made up of money donated by those who entered online for the virtual run, money raised during a club evening when members of Weymouth St. Paul’s joined in, money donated by runners who had already entered a race which had to be cancelled and were happy for their money to go charity and two generous donations.
This cheque was presented to Clare Ash, one of the Hospice’s Community events team, on October 12th by Jan Camp.
The Royal Manor of Portland Athletic Club committee wishes to thank all who donated and sincerely hope that runs will take place in 2022.
