The trust carries out surveys of its species of the month which are collated to build up a picture of the state of the wildlife in the county.
Dorset residents are being asked to document their encounters with daddy long-legs so the trust can have an understanding of how well the species is doing in Dorset.
The species has a tiny, tubular shape body and long legs; hence the name. And it is predominantly found indoors.
