A SALON sitting at the heart of Weymouth town centre has won Dorset Echo's Best Hairdresser Salon 2021.
Gazzini Hair Design, in St Thomas Street, is now officially a cut above the rest after beating all competitors within the area to be crowned as the number one salon, according to the Echo's readers.
Sarah Gazzini, who owns the business, is the architect behind the salon's success, which first opened as recent as last year.

Ms Gazzini, 38, said: "It's a welcome environment and there's a communal vibe.
"Clients can come in and just relax, which it's important in this industry - and I feel our team does that well.
"We originally started out at a smaller premises next door last year. We moved to our current site in early August after the business flourished.
"Since moving to the new premises we've brought in a beauty room, which has allowed us to expand the business by providing eyebrow and eyelash care as well as spray tans."
Along with the welcome atmosphere and the new beauty room, the new premises has a floor fitted with a quirky splash of epoxy resin - providing a uniquely colourful effect for clients and staff.
In total, Ms Gazzini, who has been trimming tresses for 17 years, said her salon is made up of 12 members of staff.
"All our hairdressers are self employed and work on a commission basis," she said.
"The salon allows them to train up in a wide range of aspects, while using the very products in the industry."
Ms Gazzini said she has 'big plans' going forward for the salon's former premises next door.
"We have two major projects in the pipeline which I can reveal," she said.
"Firstly, we're setting up a new epoxy resin flooring business named Gazzini Epoxy Floor Resin Solutions, which will be separate to the salon - so keep an eye out for that.
"And secondly, for our former premises next door, we're opening Gazzini Coffee House."
