A MAN has been charged with drink driving after police received reports a car had collided with the railings near a petrol station.
Dorset Police received the initial report just after 11pm on Friday, October 17, regarding the incident which occurred in Portland Beach Road, Portland.
An image released by police shows that the car sustained significant damage to the front left (passenger) side of the vehicle.
As a result, once police arrived they asked the male driver to take a roadside breath test.
The driver then failed the roadside breath test and was arrested by Dorset Police.
Following a night in custody he was subsequently charged with drink driving and bailed to court.
