WEYMOUTH manager Brian Stock admits the Terras “fancy our chances at home to anyone” as big rivals Yeovil Town visit the Bob Lucas Stadium tonight (7.45pm).

In the initial FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie, Weymouth’s Tom Bearwish netted a 94th-minute equaliser at Huish Park to force a replay this evening.

And a bumper crowd is expected as Weymouth seek to reach the main draw for the first time in 14 years, where they will face either Dover or Yate with victory.

Any win over Yeovil would end a near 48-year wait to beat their old foes in the FA Cup.

Weymouth have won just once and drawn twice in five league games at home this season, but Stock is confident ahead of playing the Glovers.

He told Echosport: “I fancy our chances at home to anyone.

“We have a really good mix of physicality, goalscorers and the ability within the team is very good.

“If we can utilise that like we did in the second half (on Saturday) then we stand a good chance.

“I don’t really want to look too far ahead. The incentive just to beat Yeovil alone is enough for us.

“Obviously having a home game, hopefully a bumper crowd can give us extra funds and hopefully we get into the next round but we’ve got a job on our hands first.”

Giving an update on Weymouth's injury situation, Stock confessed former Yeovil hitman Brandon Goodship is doubtful after being substituted with a back problem.

He said: “Ollie Harfield has a slightly bruised shin but should be OK. Brandon has come off with a back issue and it looks like he’s going to be a doubt.

“But it’s probably the strongest the squad has ever looked since I’ve been here when you’ve got the likes of Ben Morgan, Dan Neild and Ben Thomson not being in the squad.

“They’re all good to come back in for selection. Thommo will work on one or two things so he’s good to go.

“He’ll be relishing the opportunity to come into a tie like this.”
