A man has been brought to safety from a roof at Abbotsbury Road.
Emergency services have been at the scene since 3.16pm as negotiators worked hard to convince him to come down.
Police and fire crew are preparing to leave the scene after around four hours of negotiations.
Abbostsbury Road has now reopened and the area is no longer cordoned off.

Following the incident the man was taken away from the scene by emergency services.
