AN INVENTOR has published a new book which provides a daily record and exploration of issues which came to light during the pandemic.
The author, Peter JW Noble, an award-winning inventor behind the origin of all digital photography, retells the experience of a family during a pandemic and analyses and explores a range of present problems, including social media, abuse, broadcast media, population, climate, plastics and more, in his book titled, '421 - the number of critical days',
The author, from Poundbury, said: "It may be the first book about the effects of the pandemic on a family in the UK.
"There is a daily record written on the day of what happened from the first lockdown until things started to open up, including the news as stated on the day by the media and announcements by the government – day by day – not from memory but as it happened. 421 days.
"Lockdown allows thinking and reflection. The main thrust of the book is an analysis of a number of key topics."
