LAST WEEK saw the conclusion of the Dorchester Literary Festival with over 2000 tickets sold across 26 events in Dorset.
Highlights of the week included TV's Kate Humble and Jeremy Vine, but it was crime which proved to be popular with visitors.
Events took place at a variety of venues across Dorchester including Duke's Galleries, The Dorford Centre, Thomas Hardye School Theatre and Dorchester Library and Learning Centre.
Co-director of the festival Janet Gleeson said: “In all we sold around 2000 tickets, despite restrictions imposed by social distancing, and I think this shows that people are delighted to get back to live events, and that the Dorchester Literary Festival is a much-loved feature of the town's cultural calendar.”
Organisers confirmed that planning is ‘already beginning for next year's festival,’ which is scheduled to take place between October 15-22, but here is a selection of images from this years festival to view.
