POLICE are continuing to carry out enquiries to locate a woman who went missing from near Dorchester, with it now believed she travelled to Weymouth.

Dorset Police launched an appeal asking for the public to come forward with information that may lead to them finding Eileen Palmore, 80, who was reported missing Thursday, October 21.

“Following our initial enquiries, we believe Eileen may have travelled to the Weymouth area and we would ask everyone in the town and surrounding areas to please report any sightings,” said inspector Matt Chutter, of west Dorset Police.

“We are becoming concerned for her welfare and would ask anyone with information about her whereabouts to please contact Dorset Police.”

Ms Palmore is described as white, about five feet two inches tall and with grey shoulder length hair, wearing blue jeans, a long green coat and orange shoes.

Following enquires Dorset Police believe that Ms Palmore may have been in Weymouth town centre at around 3.30pm yesterday, Thursday October 21.

She was reported missing at 3.40pm on Thursday, October 21, having last been seen at around 9.30am in Herrison Road, Charlton Down, earlier that - but had not been heard from since.
