WEYMOUTH Women continue their debut Vitality Women’s FA Cup campaign tomorrow as they host Sherborne Town Ladies at the Bob Lucas Stadium (2pm).
The Terras are now potentially one win away from the first round proper after defeating Alton Ladies 5-1 in the second qualifying round three weeks ago.
With Sherborne Town playing two tiers higher than Weymouth, Terras' captain Charlie Wilson said she is expecting a tough encounter with the Zebras.
“We’ll step out well and truly as underdogs,” admitted Wilson. “But it’s the FA Cup, so who knows? We could have a cupset!
“Sherborne offer a bit of a local rivalry, thrown in with the fact they are two leagues above us.
“They’ve only been beaten once in two years, but that defeat came from a team in our league (Holt United), so it’s possible.

“We have a strong mentality, a strong idea of the game we want to play and a strong desire to win.
“Even with the odds stacked against us I honestly feel that with the supporters all there and cheering us on again, we can do it.”
