Yeatman Hospital, Sherborne
On behalf of the Friends I want to thank all of our supporters who answered our call to action by supporting our campaign to reopen the minor injuries unit (MIU).
Our submission, which included “real-life” experiences of using the overloaded NHS 111 emergency service, we were able to convince DHCT to reopen the door at the Yeatman MIU.
Admittedly it is a triage service at this time – but it is better than nothing.
The support and Monthly Unique Users encouragement of our Sherborne community was crucial to our success – thank you.
