Every day I turn on the news and watch the debate about forcing employees to get a Covid vaccination and talk of Covid passports.
I see reports on Covid rates climbing and how we should get a booster.
However has anyone actually tried to get vaccinated lately?
I have been trying to get my second jab for weeks. I try the phone line and it sends me a link to the website.
The website gives me the choice of various locations I cannot reach without a car, today’s choice is Torquay or the Isle of Wight.
I’ve tried my GP and they sent me a text with a link to book at Weymouth hospital, which never has any appointments available despite checking at all hours of the day and night.
As someone with a chronic illness that puts me at risk I find the entire system not fit for purpose.
