AN AWARD-WINNING musical theatre group in Weymouth that develops confidence in young people will return to the stage after a lengthy Covid break.
Members of Weymouth’s WOW Youth Musical Theatre Group's new show, dubbed 'The WOW Show, Bringing You the Joy of Musicals', will be held this November at Weymouth's Pavilion and will feature a mix of famous tunes from pop icon Elton John to hits from stage musical Les Misérables.
It will be the group's first show since before the first coronavirus lockdown in March 2020.
Alan McKechan, group chairman, said: "This show has been a long time in the making.
"The show opens with hit songs from Elton John’s Rocketman biopic, and continues with a non-stop 90 minutes of entertainment with numbers from classic and new musicals including Les Misérables, Funny Girl, Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress, Sweet Charity, Mean Girls and more."
Performances are nightly at 7pm from Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th November, with a matinee on Saturday 13th.
