DORCHESTER Sports are expected to complete two signings before their trip to Swanage Town & Herston tomorrow (2pm).

The Jewson Dorset Premier League side are close to agreeing transfers for forward Bailey McNamara from Bridport and centre-half Caleb Tennant from Portland United Reserves.

Both could make their debuts at Days Park, where Sports’ boss Ashley James is looking to continue a three-game winning run.

He told Echosport: “We’ll play the same way, take the game to them. We seem to be taking some early leads.

“When we do, we see games out and go on to score a couple more. It’ll be business as usual, try and get those early goals.

“Two or three times we’ve put the game to bed by half an hour. Confidence is high so we’ll play our normal game and hope for another three points.

“We’re playing well, scoring goals. We’re building a bit of momentum before the Christmas period.

“We just don’t want to be losing any more ground on Ham Rec, so (tomorrow) is another vital game.”

He added: “Hopefully we’ll make a couple more signings. It looks like they’re 95 per cent going to happen.

“Caleb’s come over from Portland and Bailey has come from Bridport. He played for Poole against us. He’s a good young forward player.”

Liam O’Shaughnessy is set to dual sign with Bridport and Gareth Will (groin) will miss out until the New Year.
