A NUMBER of mobile phones were stolen from a town centre phone shop in a late-night burglary.
Police officers responded to a report of a burglary at EE in Cornhill in Dorchester at 9.48pm on Saturday, November 13.
A number of mobile phones were stolen in the burglary as the store was closed throughout Sunday, November 14 to allow police officers to carry out investigations.
A police forensics vehicle was parked outside the Cornhill shop and a police officer was seen speaking to a staff member at the store's entrance. EE opened as normal today (Monday, November 15).
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police confirmed no one has been arrested and officers are currently appealing for witnesses to come forward.
She said: "Dorset Police received a report at 9.48pm on Saturday, November 13 of a burglary at EE in Cornhill in Dorchester. A number of mobile phones were stolen.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the report and officers have carried out an examination of the scene.
"No arrests have been made at this time."
EE has been approached for a comment.
