WEYMOUTH boss Brian Stock is wary of a "very dangerous" Altrincham as the Terras continue their Vanarama National League campaign tomorrow (3pm).

Action returns to the Bob Lucas Stadium for the first time since late October, when the Terras beat King's Lynn 1-0.

That victory sealed a fifth successive unbeaten 90 minutes for Stock's men until their 4-0 defeat at leaders Chesterfield last time out.

However, Alty are winless in five National League games.

Stock said: “With 10 men away to Chesterfield I don’t think we need to dwell on the situation.

“We’re going to lose games of football even with 11 men on the pitch. It’s how we react and bounce back against Altrincham.

“It’s nice to play in front of our home fans and that’s three games we’ve got at home in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully we can build that home form.”

Asked if it is a good time to play Altrincham, Stock replied: “Yes and no.

“I think they’re a very dangerous side. I watched them live before we played Yeovil in the FA Cup.

“I was very impressed with one or two individuals (Matty) Kosylo and (Dan) Mooney particularly – very dangerous on the flanks.

“They’ve got (Josh) Hancock who can play as a 10 along with one or two others. They almost play a similar style to us.

“They’ve got more results off the back of their performances. They had a 3-1 victory at Torquay followed by an impressive away victory at Dagenham.

“Their home form has been good (before) a disappointing exit out of the FA Cup which I’m sure they’re gutted about.

“They’ve shown in the past they can bounce back off poor results and I’m sure they’ll want to try and do that away from home.”

Ollie Harfield is suspended for a single game, while Ben Thomson (knee and groin) is out for two weeks but Xander McBurnie is back in training.

Elsewhere, Weymouth are conducting interviews for a new physio after the exit of Charlie Kirby.

Weymouth will also receive nearly £43,500 from the Premier League in the wake of revenue lost by the pandemic, the National League yesterday announced.
