CHRISTMAS returns to Brewery Square in Dorchester with its annual lights illumination this weekend.
Skating In The Square will also return to the popular Dorchester shopping and leisure spot on Sunday, November 28 from 4pm. Organisers originally planned to hold the event on Saturday (November 27) but it was postponed amid concerns about the weather
Organisers say they have ‘an exciting line up’ as part of the annual celebrations including live music, entertainment, mulled wine, lights illumination, performances, late-night shopping and more.
The event promises fun for all of the family Christmas Balloon modelling, stilt walkers and giant Christmas characters.
The event will kick off at 4pm with a performance from Weymouth Concert Brass and carnival act Ze Trio! will perform at 5pm and at 6.10pm.
Brewery Square's lights show will commence at 5.30pm with lights switched on at 6pm.
Last year's event was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic as Brewery Square hosted a virtual lights switch on event with children's TV favourite Mr Bloom from CBeebies switching on the lights.
