POLICE are appealing for witnesses in relation to an incident involving a horse and dogs in Puddletown Forest.

Dorset Police have said the force is carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this incident and cannot give any more detail at this time.

A spokesman from Dorset Police said: "In Puddletown Forest on Wednesday, November 10 at approximately 11:15am to 11:45am there was an incident involving a horse and some dogs.

"If anyone knows the owner of the dogs or witnessed the incident please contact police quoting reference number: 55210182231."
