A MAN is to appear in court in connection with a crash which lead to a driver being taken to hospital with serious injuries.
It comes after a crash between a silver Toyota and blue Subaru on Tuesday, June 8 this year, which happened on an unclassified road near to Keepers Cottage, in the area of Gainsborough Hill south, Sherborne.
Dorset Police received a report at 7.27am on June 8 of a collision. Police confirmed the collision involved the Toyota and the Subaru.
The driver of the Toyota – a local man aged in his 50s – was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
The driver of the Subaru – a woman aged in her 50s from the Bradford Abbas area – sustained minor injuries.
Following enquiries, a 56-year-old man from Sherborne has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 30 for an offence of driving without due care and attention.
