INVESTIGATIONS into a burglary which saw a number of mobile phones stolen from a town centre store are ongoing.

Dorset Police received a report at 9.48pm on Saturday, November 13 of a burglary at EE in Cornhill in Dorchester town centre.

Entry was gained to the building and a number of mobile phones were stolen, police say.

A police forensics team attended the shop the day after to carry out further investigations.

In an update from Dorset Police two weeks later, a spokesman said: "There is no update at this time. Our investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made."

Police Constable Nathan Boisse, of Dorchester Police, previously said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident and an examination of the scene has been carried out.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please come forward.

“I would also urge anyone who has seen a phone for sale locally in unusual circumstances to please get in touch.”
