FIREFIGHTERS responded to fuel leaking from a car at a popular Dorset event earlier today.
Crews from Wareham Fire Station were in attendance to help out at RSPB Arne with their ‘Pull a Pine’ event when they spotted fuel leaking from a vehicle.
Fortunately the team was already on site equipped with clean up tools to address the problem.
A spokesperson for Wareham Fire Station said: “Firefighters spotted fuel leaking from a car at Arne Nature reserve car park while attending ‘Pull a Pine’.
“With clean up tools at the ready, advice was given to the car owner.”
The firefighters were onsite to aid with the RSPB event which featured a variety of stalls and the opportunity to take home your own Christmas tree all while helping to preserve the heathland.
