SUPPORT is being offered to victims of domestic abuse across Dorset.
Dorset Police has raised concerns for the main forms of domestic violence including pushing, slapping, choking, and tripping.
Police said controlling and cohesive behaviour is present in all forms of domestic abuse, whether it is financial, psychological or physical.
A spokesman from Dorset Police said: "Domestic abuse takes many forms and can happen to anyone.
"Get help and support from the police or other agencies.
"The Respect charity can help perpetrators and male victims of domestic abuse.
"If you're in danger call 999."
