WEYMOUTH Choral Society will present its annual Christmas concert on Saturday, December 18.
Singers will perform alongside Weymouth Concert Brass at St Paul's Church, in Abbotsbury Road, under the guidance of musical director Helen Brind.
The show promises a packed programme of seasonal items and holiday treats as well traditional congregational carols
Accompaniment will be provided by James Lloyd Thomas on the organ and Lizzie Peacock on piano and harp. Mezzo-soprano soloist Ellen Porter will also feature.
A society spokeswoman said: "We are thrilled to once again be joined by Weymouth Concert Brass to provide that special brass band sound of Christmas, which together with choral and solo items will bring you a packed programme of seasonal items and holiday treats.
"As well as the traditional congregational carols, other choral items include favourites by John Rutter, the sparkling ‘Carol of the Bells’ and atmospheric ‘O Holy Night’.
"The programme promises an evening of great variety and different musical styles as we share with you the contemplative and celebratory aspects of the Christmas season."
