Following the development of the person or persons' complaint about noise from a public house that has been such a business, and presumably paying business rates and employing staff for possibly over a century, I fear for the future of Weymouth town centre.
What will ensue if this pub is forced to close? The Black Dog, The Boot, The Golden Lion could all be in line for the same treatment if this action is carried through.
Our town centre will be empty; it may end up looking like our massive, decaying, council offices building at the other end of the town.
