Groves Nurseries
What a wonderful gesture from Groves Nurseries.
On December 23, when they found they had Christmas trees unsold, rather than see them wasted they advertised on the Bridport Facebook page that if anyone genuinely would like a tree, but could not afford to buy one for any reason just turn up at Groves and introduce themselves no questions asked and they would leave with a tree.
With all that people have had thrown at them this year, with the virus, lockdowns, lay offs, etc it is so nice to know that the true spirit of Christmas - giving rather than receiving - is still strong with some of the companies in Bridport.
Well done Groves.
