EMERGENCY services were called to reports of a crash on a Weymouth road on New Year’s Day morning.
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) confirmed crews responded to a call out at 7.41am this morning for a collision in Dorchester Road.
Once on the scene a woman was released from an overturned car by the emergency services.
A spokesperson DWFRS said: “Weymouth and Dorchester fire and rescue services were mobilised to a road traffic collision in Dorchester Road, Weymouth.
“A female casualty was released from an overturned car by DWFRS and is now in the care of the ambulance service.”
Dorset Police have been contacted for comment.
