RESIDENTS and tourists descended on Weymouth in fancy dress to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Dorset - and here is our gallery of people out on the town.
Damp weather did not stop the crowds from flocking to the town centre to visit the many pubs and bars the area is known for, with plenty dressed up in an array of outfits from dinosaurs, to pirates and even a Covid-19 test in one case.
The hospitality industry has faced many challenges recently in light of the pandemic, but with no new restrictions introduced in England people were allowed to see 2021 out and the start 2022 in style.
