YOUR last chance to have your say on Dorset libraries is coming up with the current public consultation closing on January 7.

Dorset Council launched the surgery to develop and deliver the library service of the future.

The consultation will be a conversation with communities, employees and partners, to better understand what they value and need from the service both now and in the years to come.

A spokesperson for Dorset Council said: “The current Library Strategy is 11 years old. Over those 11 years, there have been significant changes in public behaviour and digital technology, and the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic have been felt.

“This consultation seeks to look at the future of Dorset’s libraries and how they can best meet the needs of local residents and communities, now and over the next ten years.”

To have your say visit the Dorset Council website - each person who completes the survey will be entered into a draw for a Kindle Paperwhite or an Amazon Echo Dot.
