EVER fancied a go at stone carving? Well this may just be the workshop for you this weekend.
On Saturday January 10 a stone carving workshop is taking place in Swanage between 10am and 12pm.
The event is hosted by Burngate Stone Carving at their centre in Kingston Road and is regarded as one of the best classes in the area.
A spokesperson for Burngate Stone Carving said: “One of the best family or friendship group activities in Purbeck.
"Have a go at a simple relief carving around 5” x 5”on Portland stone in our friendly workshops.
“Dream up your own design or your tutors can help with ideas and reference material.
“A great family experience, and you get to take away your own piece of art.”
