POLICE are urging parents to keep an eye on their children following a number of vandalism attacks recently reported in Dorchester.

The stern warning from officers comes after police said they received a number of calls on Monday evening with reports that 'a group of youths' were throwing eggs at houses and cars and kicking doors in the area.

A spokesman for Dorchester Police said: "Noticing spray paint cans in your child's bag? Seeing paint on hands and clothes? Recognise any of the names or graffiti style?

"Your child is not a budding Banksy! If caught, they will be spoken to by police regarding criminal damage."
